Rangers mania is still going strong even though the victory parade has ended. Fans had the opportunity to meet with Texas Rangers MVP Corey Seager at a special autograph signing event at the Academy Sports and Outdoors store in Mesquite on Saturday. The line of fans extended around the corner. While not everyone could attend the victory parade in Arlington on Friday, these fans didn’t want to miss the chance to meet Corey Seager in person. The Academy Sports + Outdoors store in Mesquite was filled with fans wanting to meet Rangers MVP Corey Seager. The line even extended around the back of the mall. Some fans even camped out overnight to ensure they could be first in line to meet the World Series MVP. Jessica Corpus went the extra mile by making special t-shirts for her sons to get Seager’s attention. About 600 fans were able to obtain Seager’s autograph on Saturday afternoon. When asked why it was important for him to be there with fans, Seager stated that they supported the team and he wanted to enjoy the support. Fans appreciate Seager not only for his talent and star power but also for his ability to connect with them. Adolis Garcia will be signing autographs at the Academy Sports and Outdoors store in Arlington from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday for those who missed the opportunity to meet Seager on Saturday.
