The White House has once again criticized Fox News, this time for comments made by a host regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict. This follows condemnation of Jesse Watters for inciting violence against Arab Americans and Mark Levin for labeling two CNN anchors as “self-hating Jews.”

Andrew Bates, a spokesperson, issued a statement, saying that President Biden believes in unity against hate and not fueling it. Bates further criticized Fox News for aligning with those who promote hate and for paying their salaries.

Mark Levin, host of the Fox News weekend show Life, Liberty & Levin, made derogatory comments about CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper on his daily radio show. Levin referred to Blitzer as a “dumb bastard” who wants Israel to die and labeled him a “self-hating Jew,” a term he previously used for Tapper as well. CNN responded, calling Levin’s remarks uninformed, inappropriate, and shameful, and condemning his antisemitic rhetoric.

The White House also criticized Fox News for not disagreeing with Greg Gutfeld’s claim that Nazi camps taught Jews to be “useful,” which the Auschwitz Memorial previously condemned. Bates emphasized that such Holocaust denial has no place in America. He stated that Fox News has allowed their platform to be used for spreading hate, referring to Jesse Watters’ recent vile comments attacking Arab Americans and Muslims. Bates called on Fox News to stop supporting hate, and President Biden will continue to oppose antisemitism, Islamophobia, and all forms of hate.

Fox News has not yet responded to the criticism.
