About
Nelson Serieux, aka Lan Lawd, was born and raised on the Caribbean island of St Lucia. His mother was a music teacher on the island and help to introduce him to music and instruments from a young age. Lan Lawd launched his music career in his early 20’s and won “Best New Artist” in St Lucia in 2010. When he migrated to Miami he continued creating music and is working towards releasing his sophomore album in 2022. Lanlawd’s sound can be described as modern caribbean influenced music with hints of dancehall. All of his projects are independently produced and released. His recent singles also include “Love with the Money” and collaborations such as “Put You on a Poster” with Z-Ro.
